Light Source to Large Adjacent Area, recommended max ratio 40:1

The graph below shows the luminance ratios for the Light Source to All Adjacent Area view context (the max ratio of Window to Shade Shelf, Wall between Windows, Window Sill, or Floor) for each station and time, as measured on all days.  These ratios are quite high, but they include possibly irrelevant rations, like Window to Window sill, and Window to Floor.  The Window Sill might not be relevant, because they are so thin as to hardly constitute a "large area".  The Floor might not be relevant, because there are things between the floor and Window, such as the desks, and the base of the wall.

Given the skewed results above, I graph below only the ratios of window to Wall and Window to Shade Shelf. Since the We see here that the contrast between the luminance of the book and the desk may be uncomfortable high

To clarify some of these values which might be hard to read, below is the same data set as a line graph.  We see here that most of the values are significantly greater than 40:1.  This is primarily due to the Brightest part of the window to the Wall between the Windows.
