Harris Microwave Communications develops digital microwave radios which transmit signals such as those from T1 or T3 lines. The software for the radios runs in an embedded multitasking pSOS operating system and enables the user to control and get the status of each radio in the network.
• Created system specifications and designed modules
• Ported and modified code from one platform to another
• Programmed in C on a Windows NT 4.0 platform, emulated and debugged the code as it ran in the hardware, gathered user input, determined requirements, created and edited documentation
• Projects include developing user interfaces, database services and objects, card configuration, and the interactions between the controller and the Radio Frequency Unit
