Here is a map of the metro and RER of Paris and surrounding regions. The map has a zoom bar in its upper right corner. You can click and drag this map, or click on stations and lines for more information, such as maps of the neighborhood around a station and schedules of a line. It is all in French, I haven't found an English version, but as a map it will still be useful.
Our reception in Trezan is just 3km away from the D4 terminus of the green RER D line, in Malesherbes. Note that the D line branches south of Paris, so you want to be sure to board the proper RER train, with the D4 terminus designation. Most if not all of the RER stations will have lighted signs on the platform indicating the stops which the next train will make.
